The Grand is York’s finest hotel. Based in the city centre, just minutes from the train station, The Grand was once a palace of business, built in 1906 for the headquarters of the North-Eastern Railway.
Now reborn as a hotel but retaining its original splendour, The Grand boasts seven meeting and event spaces including The Grand Boardroom and the Chairman’s Suite complete with wood panelling and original features, alongside a range of flexible spaces for all manner of meetings and private dinners.
Following a recent £15m redevelopment, The Grand is also home to 207 bedrooms, two restaurants and two bars as well as a luxury spa, housed in the buildings former vaults.
New for 2019, The Cookery School at The Grand, York officially opens on March 1st and is the perfect setting for corporate events and immersive team building experiences.
